Identity and Roots

Our proposal is inspired by the nine Indigenous and Afro-descendant peoples of Honduras. We study, honor, and reinterpret their culinary traditions to transform them into contemporary experiences that preserve their essence and celebrate the country’s cultural diversity.

Research and Savoir-Faire

9 Patrias develops its cuisine through gastronomic research by students of UNITEC’s School of Gastronomy, working with local ingredients and techniques that highlight our identity.

Our menus change seasonally to reflect Honduras’ agricultural richness and allow an ongoing dialogue between territory, creativity, and culture.

EDUCATIONAL DIMENSION

As the teaching restaurant of Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC), 9 Patrias is also a real learning space for future gastronomy professionals.

Our students train in an environment that combines technique, cultural sensibility, and excellent service. The 9 Patrias team is made up of alumni from UNITEC’s Gastronomy degree program.
